The primary objective of GPF is to secure funds for the acquisition and deployment of anti-active shooter technology to public schools. This technology aids in the identification, tracking, reporting and response to potential shooters. Unfortunately, the cost of this technology often exceeds the financial funding most school budgets. Our goal is to offer funding to schools for the implementation of this life-saving technology and funds for training school personnel on how to respond in case of a threat.

  At GPF, we raise funds and then provide funding for an array of programs and technologies aimed at to bolstering school security. Our programs include cutting-edge technology, comprehensive security training, meticulous response planning, enhanced emergency communications and seamless coordination with local law enforcement and fire rescue. These resources are designed to be used in the event of an incident or an active shooter emergency, enabling improved response actions for the safety and protection of our children, faculty and parents.

  Introducing this technology into schools could have a profound effect on saving children's lives. Despite numerous discussions and promises made over the past five years, little has been made in improving the ability to rapidly identify and respond to an active shooter event. The funding allocated for this purpose has proven successful in preventing or reducing such incidents, but only where there has been money to secure the improved technology and training. GPF is committed to implementing these systems to safeguard our children - the positive impact will become evident when lives are saved.
